What is Mantra Shakti?
Mantra Shakti is a band inspired by kirtan and mantra chanting, combining Hindu tradition with a contemporary sensibility. We weave together voices, harmonium, guitar, bass, percussion and sound textures through call-and-response, making music in community.
Our music moves from intimate, meditative moments to rhythmic, celebratory ones, inviting people to listen, sing and move together.
No prior experience is needed: you can simply listen, let the music carry you or join the singing spontaneously. Learn what kirtan is
“Through the power of music and the repetition of sacred names, we create a space to expand awareness and open the heart.”
